Staff and/or resident leaders educate residents about local community-based resources. Evidence that supervisors (including top management) create a positive, productive work environment for staff. Job descriptions require staff to facilitate access to local community-based resources. Policies and procedures that serve the priority population, which at a minimum include persons in recovery from substance use but may also include other demographic criteria. A policy and practice that residents be informed of payments from 3rd party payers for any fees paid on their behalf.

Verification that Naloxone is accessible at each location, and appropriate individuals are knowledgeable and trained in its use. Policy and procedures that address residents’ prescription and non-prescription medication usage and storage consistent with the residence’s level and with relevant state law. Policy prohibits the use of alcohol and/or illicit drug use or seeking. Verification that a meeting space is large enough to accommodate all residents. Cultural responsiveness and competence training or certification are provided.

- The Willing House is a MASH Certified Peer-Based Independent Living Community for Men and Women in Recovery.
- Integrity Sober Living is only as strong as it’s residents.
All community members are subject to random drug screens and daily breathalyzing. This is a critical part of our routine to ensure accountability. We provide the new comer with built in peer-based support, where help and a sense of fellowship, which is much needed in early recovery, can be found. (b) The bureau shall establish and provide for the administration of a voluntary training and accreditation program for operators of alcohol and drug free housing seeking certification under subsection (d).
